Samuel D. Green has served at Trevecca since 1998 and serves as chair of the Department of Worship in the School of Music and Worship Arts, where he also directs undergraduate research. Samuel holds graduate degrees from Belmont University, Tennessee State University and Trevecca, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Graduate Worship Studies from the Institute for Worship Studies. In 2024, he received Trevecca’s Teaching Excellence Award in recognition of his contributions to teaching.
