Scott serves as an adjunct faculty member at Trevecca for applied business analytics, leading students in learning to use data to address complex organizational challenges. His teaching interests include data analytics, organizational leadership, strategic planning, higher education finance and institutional effectiveness.
He serves as president of Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, and brings more than 35 years of experience in Christian higher education as a faculty member, dean, provost, chief financial officer and president. His Ph.D. in educational policy and administration includes an emphasis in organizational behavior, research methods and statistics. He also serves as a Higher Learning Commission evaluator and has extensive experience in accreditation, assessment, strategic planning, organizational culture and the sustainability of small private colleges. Scott’s teaching integrates analytical rigor, practical application, ethical decision-making and a commitment to Christian faith and service.
