Sherry Francis Merideth holds a doctoral degree in performance psychology, expected in December 2026. Sherry has presented the lecture “It’s Not Either/Or! Supporting Mental Health and Performance Excellence” at the ASTA National String Summit and has adjudicated concerto competitions for W.O. Smith Music School and Belmont University.
Her technical workshops include “Effective Practice Techniques,” “Audition Prep” and “Bow Strokes: Creating the Energy You Want in Your Playing.” Sherry has performed in a variety of ensembles, including three regional tours with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, two on violin and one on viola. She has also recorded Gaither Homecoming videos.
Sherry and her husband, Tyler Merideth, are both musicians and music educators. They have three children and enjoy camping in the summers.
