Tammy has over 30 years of experience in education. She has taught English and Spanish at the high school level and ESL from pre-K–12. She also has experience teaching in higher education and developing writing programs and courses, including courses for ESL certification for preservice and licensed teachers. Tammy has served on the board of Tennessee Teachers of Speakers of Other Languages in various capacities.
