Tom is the provost and senior vice president. He also holds the rank of professor of leadership studies. He graduated from Trevecca and later earned a master’s degree in professional counseling in 2003 and an Ed.D. in ethical leadership in 2010 from Olivet Nazarene University. He came to work at Trevecca in 2008 and has served in various roles with primary oversight of retention, student success, academic services, leadership studies (undergraduate) and the Master of Organizational Leadership program. Before his recent appointment, Tom served as associate provost and dean of academic and student affairs. He assumed the position of university provost and senior vice president on July 1, 2019. Tom is married to Jessica and has two kids, Marley and Asher.
