Presidential Search
Trevecca Nazarene University has launched a formal search for its next president. The University seeks an experienced higher education leader who can build on Trevecca's strong foundation and guide the University into a new chapter.
The internal search committee is led by Trevecca's Board of Trustees Chair Dr. Brian Wilson, who will work closely alongside FaithSearch Partners throughout the selection process. FaithSearch Partners is an executive search firm with extensive experience in Christian higher education.

Dr. Dan Boone announces his plans to retire in summer 2027

SPRING 2026
The search committee engages with FaithSearch Partners to outline the search process and gather feedback internally from faculty, staff, students and other University constituents
3.
SUMMER 2026
FaithSearch Partners builds and vets the initial prospect pool
4.
FALL 2026
FaithSearch Partners continues active outreach to potential candidates
5.
OCTOBER 2026 (ESTIMATED)
A slate of highly qualified candidates is presented to the search committee, which will narrow the list and interview select candidates
6.
NOVEMBER 2026 (ESTIMATED)
The selection process concludes with the final candidate(s) visiting campus, and the full Board of Trustees chooses the new president
7.
JULY 1, 2027
The new president assumes office following Dr. Boone's retirement
