Scholarships
Undergraduate Freshmen
Trevecca awards annual academic scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $14,000 based on a student’s high school GPA and/or test scores. Awards are determined at the time of admission and establish the maximum academic scholarship a student may receive during the student’s time at the University.
Trevecca is test-preferred for admission. Academic scholarships are awarded based on the student’s unweighted high school GPA or the combination of the student’s unweighted high school GPA and ACT/SAT score for applicants who choose to submit a test score. ACT superscores are accepted for scholarship consideration.

Note to Homeschool Students: In order to qualify for test-preferred admission and scholarship awarding, homeschool transcripts must be issued to Trevecca from a registered umbrella program. To verify school status, please confirm that the umbrella school is recognized by ACT or SAT and has a CEEB code associated with it. Transcripts created by and sent from a parent of a homeschooled student will require either an ACT or SAT score to be submitted, for admission and scholarship consideration.
Trevecca awards annual scholarships in recognition of a student's academic achievement prior to enrollment at TNU. Awards are determined when the student transfers to Trevecca and will establish the maximum academic award for that student during his/her time at the University. A student must have two full-time semesters post high school graduation in order to receive a transfer academic scholarship. The table below names the scholarships and amounts, and it lists the requirements for transfers. Transfer academic scholarships are awarded once the final transfer GPA is determined. Awards are determined when the student transfers to Trevecca and establish the maximum academic scholarship a student may receive during the student’s time at the University.
A student must have completed two full-time semesters after high school graduation in order to receive a transfer academic scholarship. Students are encouraged to submit college transcripts and apply to Trevecca to see what scholarships they may be offered.

Annual awards are distributed in two equal payments. A student may receive only one academic scholarship per semester. Institutional scholarships at Trevecca can be applied only to tuition, fees, food and housing and can never generate a credit balance. Institutional scholarships require a minimum load of twelve hours each semester and will not be awarded beyond eight full-time semesters. No institutional scholarships will be given for external academic programming in which no tuition is paid to Trevecca. The academic scholarships will be renewed in the fall semester of each academic year provided the student maintains the required renewed GPA (3.0 cumulative). Students who lose their original award level due to their GPA, may regain their award level in the future if they can raise their cumulative GPA to the required level (3.0).
