More and Better Preachers
The More and Better Preachers program exists to recruit, encourage, train, equip and deploy more and better preachers throughout the Southeast Field of the Church of the Nazarene.
Meeting this goal involves identifying and preparing preachers in the most needed contexts in our field: church planting, church revitalization, ethnic churches and house churches. More and Better Preachers seeks to assist those currently in ministry, those just starting in ministry and those who are discerning a call to ministry.
The program is funded through Lilly Endowment’s Compelling Preaching Initiative, which is designed to foster and support preaching that inspires, encourages and guides people to come to know and love God and to live out their Christian faith more fully.
