Students in this minor take courses in theory, aural theory, jazz history, and private applied lessons in improvisation and their chosen instrument. The performance component includes participation in Jazz Ensemble (Big Band) and Jazz Combo showcases.
When we learn about creation, when we learn about science, that’s a form of worship because we are dedicating our time and our lives to studying what God has created. It feels right to be here. I feel like I’m getting the education that I need.
