Residential Freshmen &Transfers – Orientation Check-in & Student Move-in
Orientation check-in is a two-part process:

  • Students will check-in with the Office of Admissions at Boone Convocation Center.
    • This must be completed prior to moving into your residence hall.
  • Students will move into their residence halls. 

*New Student Check-In will be closed from 12-1 PM for lunch

Introduction to Academic Life & Departmental Meetings

After hearing a message from the University Provost, new students will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from their individual academic department.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Cafeteria Open for Lunch

1 p.m.

Student Life @ TNU

Presented by the Center for Student Development, this session will provide helpful insights to life at TNU, including introducing the Community Guidelines for all students and highlighting special resources. Safety protocols and procedures will be covered during this session.

2 p.m.

Title IX Orientation & Financial Aid Seminar

This session will provide education and information on the services and resources Trevecca provides to the campus community as part of compliance with Federal Title IX regulations. Members of the Student Financial Aid team will present on important information regarding student finances.

3 p.m.

Student Life Classroom, Jernigan Student Center
Commuter Life Session

Commuting students will receive valuable information about life at Trevecca. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions in a smaller group setting.

4 p.m.

McClurkan 102, McClurkan Hall
Link Group Session

During this orientation event, students will meet the Mentor and Peer Mentors for their Link group, hear about the INT 1100 Life, Calling, and Purpose course, and celebrate starting their Trevecca journey!

4 p.m.

Transfer LINK Session & Dinner

Transfer students are welcomed to the Hill! As this is not a transfer students’ “first rodeo,” Trevecca recognizes they have unique questions and concerns as they get acclimated to a new community. This time is designed to meet those needs. Transfers students will receive advice from prior transfers and participate in Technology 101 to learn how to connect to their digital life at Trevecca.
