Greg Runyan is a graduate of Trevecca, where he earned degrees in accounting and business and was a member of the Trevecca golf team. After graduation, Greg began his career in public and private accounting in Nashville while earning his CPA license and MBA.
Greg later returned to Trevecca as a member of the business faculty. Throughout his teaching career, he has focused primarily on financial accounting while also teaching taxation, business finance, Excel and other business courses. In addition to serving as associate professor of accounting, Greg has chaired the Business Department for more than 20 years.
His service to the University has extended beyond the classroom. Greg directed Trevecca’s annual two-day fundraising golf tournament for 25 years and served as the University’s faculty athletic representative for more than 20 years.
Greg and his wife Ginny, also a Trevecca graduate, have four adult children (two of them Trevecca graduates) and two grandchildren.
