As part of the CARES Act, the federal government has made available emergency financial aid grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus. Eligible expenses include food, housing, course materials, technology, healthcare, child care, and transportation. Trevecca students may apply for assistance by completing an application. Please note that this funding is limited and we encourage you to apply only if you need assistance for the above-related expenses. The federal guidelines also stipulate that funding only be made available to students that qualify for federal aid by completing the FAFSA and students that were not enrolled in exclusively online classes prior to March 13, 2020. Here is the link to the application: COVID-19 Emergency Grant

The deadline for completing the application is May 18, 2020. After the application deadline students that are eligible for emergency assistance will be notified.  Please note that your application does not guarantee assistance.

For questions, please email emergencygrant@trevecca.edu.

A committee was selected by the Chief Financial Officer to review applications and determine eligibility for assistance.  Eligible expenses included food, housing, course materials, technology, healthcare, child care, and transportation. The application required students to allocate their expenses and give the reason for needing assistance. Students were required to explain their needs in the categories and list the amount needed in each category. The committee reviewed and approved these amounts per the student request.
