Stephen Kummer is an adjunct professor of commercial piano. An EMMY award-winning and GRAMMY-nominated pianist, conductor and composer, his credits include performances with the Phoenix Symphony, Nashville Symphony, Nashville Opera, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Madden NFL, Scary Stories to Tell (Amazon Prime) and Altered Carbon (Netflix). His orchestral arrangements are performed by the Houston Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Boston Pops Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony, Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony and the Atlanta Symphony. He frequently collaborates with Hal Leonard, McGraw Hill, Celebrating Grace, Music Theater International and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.

Stephen has also music directed and arranged for Disney Tokyo, Hershey Park, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Sea World Orlando, Oceania Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise Line, and Crystal Cruise Line. National Broadway tours include Legally Blonde and Beauty and the Beast. He has regional credits as music director/pianist that include Les Miserable, Bernadette Peters, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Camelot, Guys and Dolls, Joan Rivers, Bob Newhart, Marvin Hamlisch, Always, Patsy Cline, Steven Curtis Chapman, West Side Story, Jerry Lewis and Cinderella.

Residing in Nashville, Tenn., Stephen is married to Jennifer who is a world-class French horn performer and first-call for Nashville recording sessions.
