What to Expect

We’ve partnered with leading school districts, universities and professionals at the forefront of digital literacy initiatives to create groundbreaking, relevant curriculum for teaching online and face-to-face in the digital age. You’ll learn key concepts like integrating technology into teaching; leading curriculum change; curriculum planning and instructional practice; course and instructional design; inclusive practices; copyright laws for online learning and development; and interactive and digital tools for learning. You’ll also participate in a field experience with hands-on learning opportunities, and you’ll develop an e-portfolio that showcases your expertise in virtual and face-to-face curriculum planning and development utilizing strategies in technology.
Because it does not lead to teacher licensure, Trevecca’s M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction is a great option for in-state, out-of-state and international students who already hold a teaching license or who are seeking to advance their credentials. This program also prepares you to help coordinate or lead the online learning of multiple schools across a district or region.
