What to Expect

As a student in Trevecca’s BBA in marketing program, you’ll gain a solid foundation in both business and marketing principles. Our business curriculum equips you with courses in accounting, finance, marketing, law and quantitative analysis so that you’ll understand every major facet of business.

You’ll also be trained in essential marketing principles so that you can help your company and/or client analyze their situation and solve their problems with effective and timely strategies. Marketing coursework includes topics like communication, consumer behavior, sales fundamentals, advertising strategies, market research, internet marketing, international marketing and quality customer service. Our curriculum includes hands-on learning opportunities and class simulations using the latest marketing methods and technologies.

At Trevecca, your learning continues outside of the classroom where you can take part in the Nashville American Marketing Association student club. Your degree also culminates in an exciting internship, giving you the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience and to establish professional networking contacts. One of our recent graduates turned an internship with the Nashville Predators into a full-time job managing the sales of the team's premium seating. Another graduate leveraged her internship with the local Dale Carnegie franchise into a position as a corporate trainer.
