What to Expect
With a minor in politics and public policy, students develop a dynamic understanding of public affairs, policy development and policy analysis. They learn to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of public policies and address ethical challenges in policy. Students in the program, especially when they pair this minor with a history major, improve their research and critical thinking skills as well as their verbal and written communication, preparing them for graduate work or employment in fields related to public service.
