What to Expect

Graduates with a pre-law minor will be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of legal history, policy and ethics that will prepare them for success in law school. Coursework focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of legal precedent and procedure, assessing ethical issues in the legal system and improving critical thinking and communication skills. This minor is often paired with a history major, which gives students the opportunity to hone their critical reading and writing skills and work on original research projects and classroom presentations.
